The crowd concept was developed as a nod to the hatted crowds of recent history; a time when a man would not be seen without his hat. The shelves were designed to be reminiscent of a well stocked, traditional gentleman's outfitters.

Entirely constructed and assembled using only cardboard sheets, the interlocking design was light, simple to assemble and flat-packed for transport in a small family car.
